USA Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) engineers have experience with advanced electronics systems that provide the GNC functions necessary for safe air travel and spaceflight. These engineers provide the expertise to sustain a host of redundant critical systems, including Global Positioning Systems (GPS), inertial measurement systems, star trackers, and air data systems that must operate and communicate at velocities much higher than typical commercial and military aircraft, and that operate at all atmospheric altitudes. These GNC experts are recognized for their capabilities in sustaining complex control feedback flight control systems such as fly by wire systems and microwave landing systems. This includes associated displays and controls that augment these flight systems, including heads-up displays.
